Harvest Lunch- Sunday 4th October
A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this year’s Harvest Lunch such a lovely occasion. Held at Whittington Senior Citizens Club on Sunday 4 October, the lunch was attended by 65 people and was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate Harvest as a community.
The lunch itself raised £686 for church funds, while the raffle raised an additional £250, shared equally between the Church and Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. This means a total of £811 was raised for St John the Baptist Church, together with £125 for Lingen Davies.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who helped organise and prepare the lunch, donated raffle prizes, served on the day, bought tickets and joined us. Thank you for helping to make it such an enjoyable and successful community occasion.
